Adolescent Prevention Services provides substance use education, prevention and referrals for substance abuse treatment to elementary, middle and high school aged children and adolescents. Bridges works with mulitple prevention councils in our area to address underage drinking, the illegal use of marijuana, the abuse of prescription drugs, and other identified substance abuse issues in the community. Bridges works with the Milford Public Schools to coordinate the Natural Helpers Program.

Outpatient behavioral health center provides comprehensive counseling services and crisis intervention, psychiatric care and case management, substance abuse treatment and prevention, dual diagnosis treatment, outreach to at-risk families, tobacco cessation services, and psychosocial rehabilitation programs for adults with chronic mental illness. Bridges is the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Local Mental Health Authority for Milford, Orange, and West Haven. Licensed Primary Health Care provided by Optimus Healthcare are available one day per week. Health Education, Nutrition Counseling and Wellness Groups are also available.
