Humanitarian organization provides relief to victims of disaster and helps individuals and families prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Services include emergency response, disaster education and preparedness, international social services, training in First Aid, CPR, water safety and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), and volunteer and college internship programs. American Red Cross Chapter also supports the collection of blood in cooperation with American Red Cross Blood Services - Connecticut Region.
