Intensive in-home therapeutic intervention for children ages 9 - 18, who have a history of substance abuse or who are at risk of abusing substances, who have an extensive treatment history that has not stabilized the child, who are in need of an intervention in order to be maintained safely in the community, and who do not currently require inpatient care. Purpose of the program is to keep the child from being hospitalized or being placed in a residential treatment facility. Eligible children are abusing substances or are at risk of using substances, have conduct disorders/oppositional defiant behaviors, and are at imminent risk of hospitalization or placement in a residential treatment facility. Family must be willing to participate in the treatment plan.

Family support center serves children, youth and families with emotional, developmental, or learning disabilities. Center provides clinical, special education, outpatient psychiatric services, psychiatric residential therapeutic care, foster care and adoption placement, and in-home services for at risk families. Funding for services includes support from the Department of Children and Families, managed care organizations, area school systems and through fundraising.
