Family Self Sufficiency Program provides residents of the Greenwich Housing Authority or Charter Oak Communities the tools they need to attain economic self sufficiency. The program offers individualized support including vocational counseling, goal planning, job and life skills training and family counseling aimed at helping participants become economically independent. Family Centers works with partner agencies in the area to identify potential employment, education, homeownership, childcare, transportation and self-improvement opportunities for participating families. Free computer training courses are also offered.

NAEYC accredited preschools, health centers, School Based Health Centers, parent education and adolescent counseling services give families the resources they need. A comprehensive network of counseling and support services also help families work toward a successful resolution. Vocational training, housing resources, counseling and self sufficiency program helps families, individuals and aging adults live more independently.
