REPLACING DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU HAVE LOST ALL OF YOUR IDS

To replace documents when you have lost all of your identifying documentation:

• First replace your birth certificate. To find out how to do this without any ID, go to:
  http://www.211ct.org/InformationLibrary/Documents/Birth%20Certificates%20pt.asp and scroll down to the heading: OBTAINING A BIRTH CERTIFICATE IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR ID
• Then, take your certified birth certificate and one document from the “Secondary Documents” list to DMV to get a new driver’s license or non-driver ID. To see the list of acceptable documents go to: http://www.211ct.org/InformationLibrary/Documents/dmvacceptabledocs.asp.
• Take your birth certificate and your drivers license or DMV ID card to replace your Social Security card:
