AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009

PROGRAM SUMMARY

Summer jobs through the 2009 ARRA are for:

  • youth and young adults ages 14 through 24, with
  • household income approximately at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Regional Workforce Development Boards will administer the funds and contract out to community based agencies to employ the youth. Apply as soon as possible; the need for jobs will probably exceed the number of openings!
