INMATE
TRUST FUND / INMATE ACCOUNTS - CONNECTICUT
The Inmate Trust
Fund is managed by the Connecticut Department of
Corrections in order to give relatives and
friends of inmates a way to give money to an
inmate, for use in the prison commissary. It is
no longer necessary to be on an inmate's visitor
list to send funds to his or her inmate
account. Funds can be sent by money order
or Western Union Quick Collect to the fund, and
the funds will be credited to the inmate’s
commissary account. For information about the
fund, go to the Department
of Correction website or call the main
number for DOC and ask to speak the
administrator of Inmate Accounts.
