WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR HEAT IN RENTALS?

Section 19a-109 of the Connecticut General Statutes establishes a minimum temperature of 65 degrees Fahrenheit for a building occupied as a home or place of residence. This requirement applies throughout the year.
